Trip Report - ACC San Francisco

We had a lovely and relaxing few days in Napa, then drove to San Francisco on Thursday, the 13th, to set up the booth. The weather in both places was fantastic - sunny and warm. Here's a peek at the view from the front rooms of our friends San Francisco home. First, looking NW, toward the dome of the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Marin County headlands:

To the north, toward Belvedere and Tiburon:

And to the NE, with a neighbor's chimney blocking the view of Alcatraz. Don't fret; I've got an even better shot of Alcatraz to post tomorrow.

In the last shot, the white building on the far right is part of the Ft. Mason complex; the ACC show uses a building just to the right of it. So our friends' home is a terrific location when we're doing shows at Ft. Mason - it's only about a 5 minute drive away.

I lived in San Francisco for almost 10 years, and my memory of the weather is that sunshine was kinda rare in the summer. We really enjoyed every minute of it, as did the million or so sailboat owners who were out on the Bay over the weekend!
