Lilypads

This image was taken at the cabin in Montana last year. It says summer to me.



Next up, a companion piece that's an image of grasses growing along the edge of the lake. I'll use the same green and blue yarns, plus white.

But first, I have to cut off what's woven so far, as I need to get one of the pieces ready for a special exhibit in conjunction with Open Studios, and hem and ship the newlyweds to the customer who is giving them the portrait for a wedding gift. I'll try to post photos of both pieces once they're completed.
