Montana Images

As you might remember, I love aspen trees. Their close relative, the birch, shares many of the same characteristics, such as interesting coloration and texture.

In the part of Montana that we visit every summer, birches are more prevalent than aspens. Here are a couple of images that might end up as weavings:

More later. Tomorrow, we're off to Los Angeles for a couple of days. The youngest of the Rude brothers (there are 6 of them!) is getting married on Saturday, and our presence is requested - no, required.
