We're home for a few days, and the blue fine wool warp is finally ready to weave. Here's where I stand today:
The blue mixed wool warp is being woven with a very fine teal-blue boucle weft and after a few false starts, is weaving very smoothly. Boucle is always difficult on one selvedge or the other, but by moving my weaving chair to the right about 4 inches, I've got the selvedges just about even.
I find that if one selvedge is wonky, it helps to move your seating position toward that selvedge until the results tell you you're on the mark.
Thank you for that, Sandra. I always forget which selvedge I toward. Got the one that needs help... makes sense.
