As a professional weaver, I'm in a constant state of changing what's on the loom: planning a project, dyeing yarn for the project, warping the loom with that new yarn, weaving, finishing, and so on. Blogging is a way for me to share the process, and a way for me to keep track of what I did when.

Sandra is very, very ill
My dear wife Sandra is in the ICU and is not expected to be with us much longer. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
This is sad news indeed, but I'm holding out hope for a better outcome even if that is not the current expectation. Let her know she has "warped" friends in her corner - as do you, Mike. Best love, Jannie
Mike, please know that I am sitting here in tears as the news of Sandra's health situation. I am sending you and the family lots of hugs and support during this time. Bummer, she's such a great person and talented beyond belief. I so have enjoyed her friendship over the years. Love and hugs, Nancy
Extremely sad to hear this news. Will keep Sandra in my thoughts and hope for a reversal on this condition. She is always been a very helpful person with a lot of new ideas and always willing to stretch the boundaries to look for new possibilities
I am deeply distressed to hear the news about Sandra. She has been a friend for over 30 years and I've taken her advice more than once about weaving problems. My thoughts are with her and also with Mike and hope that something may change for the better.
I am so sorry to read about Sandra. When I first begun to weave Sandra took the time to teach me how to do basket weave edges, and was very patient every time I emailed her. My thoughts are with both of you.

Mike, My heart and thoughts go out to you both. Sandra presented to our guild and I bought one of her wood series scarves. She and I shared the fact that our husbands are woodworkers, and she shared her dyeing method using wood chips.
