Sandra is very, very ill

My dear wife Sandra is in the ICU and is not expected to be with us much longer. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

  3. This is sad news indeed, but I'm holding out hope for a better outcome even if that is not the current expectation. Let her know she has "warped" friends in her corner - as do you, Mike.

  17. I am deeply distressed to hear the news about Sandra. She has been a friend for over 30 years and I've taken her advice more than once about weaving problems. My thoughts are with her and also with Mike and hope that something may change for the better.

    I am so sorry to read about Sandra. When I first begun to weave Sandra took the time to teach me how to do basket weave edges, and was very patient every time I emailed her. My thoughts are with both of you.

  46. At a loss for words at this sad news. Sandra has long been a huge part of the weaving community, especially those of us who work with jacquard and technical design concepts. She has always showed enthusiasm and generosity in sharing her own work, and encouraging others. Sending much love and hope that she can hear and feel the warmest wishes and prayers being sent her way now.

    My heart and thoughts go out to you both. Sandra presented to our guild and I bought one of her wood series scarves. She and I shared the fact that our husbands are woodworkers, and she shared her dyeing method using wood chips.
