I will soon be shipping jacquard weavings to two different exhibits on the East Coast:
Aspen III will be in The Art of Fiber exhibit at the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton Art Foundation, 9601 Ox Road, Lorton, VA, from November 23, 2011, to January 2, 2012.
Ice and Reflections will be in the Craft Forms 2011 exhibit at the Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne, PA, from December 2, 2011 to January 21, 2012.
If you're able to see either exhibit, and are allowed to take photos, I'd love to see a picture!

Excellent Sandra, and good luck!
Ooooo - I'll be sure to get to the Workhouse in Lorton. I've been there once and could hardly tear myself away from the weaving studio! :-) I'll try to get pics...

Hi Sandra. I got to the Lorton Workhouse today (in the pouring rain). It made the road trip interesting! I was told no photographs were allowed...then I went to the building next door (there are about 12 blgs there) and met this very outgoing, wonderful artist (this second building has fiber artists in it) and she was wearing a Monkees (the group) t-shirt. I just KNEW she had to be a good person. So I told her why we'd made the trip and she said come on, I'll take you over, I'll let you take photos of her work because I think it's neat that you have a connection to this artist! So I have photos. I'm looking around to see if I can see your email address but I don't see it....maybe in your profile? I'll send them to you as soon as I can find the email addy. It was so awesome to see your work (Aspen III) in person! It's amazing and beautiful. I wish you could visit the Workhouse - there are so many amazing artist there!
Thanks for sharing your work so I could see it in person.
