Beaming the Blue Warp

After finishing off a few other tasks and some Open Studios preparations, I began beaming the blue warp. In the photo below, I had wound 4 sections: The left selvedge and two to its right, and the right selvedge.

When beaming a warp for an interleaved design, I usually wind the selvedge sections first, because those are different from all the rest - the actual selvedge threads are all one color, instead of alternating the 2 (or 3) colors of the body of the design.

Tomorrow, I'll finish beaming, and begin threading.
