Weaving on Two Looms

Open Studios always means hopping back and forth between the two looms.

On the dobby loom, I finished scarf #1 and began #2:


















This one has a weft of pale green, just a little paler than the lighter of the two blue warps, and a treadling that makes lengthwise wiggly waves. At this point, it really looks like window screening, but it'll be wonderful after wet finishing, when the threads relax and find their place in the cloth!

On the jacquard loom, just over 100 picks were woven, so I'm only a little farther along with the image of Miranda:



















There seemed to be fewer attendees today than either day last weekend. I hope we'll see more tomorrow. Sales continued to be good, though, so we can't complain too loudly.
