Happy New Year

Saigon at dawn. We arrived late last night, Feb. 10, which is Tet, Vietnamese New Year. Unlike our New year, Tet is an 11-day holiday, and most people go to their family home, usually out in a village, so we'll have the city to ourselves. Population is about 7 million, with a population of motorscooters/motorbikes/motorcycles around 16 million, according to the Dept of Motor vehicles.
