The end of the lake has been reached. As I anticipated, the last couple of inches did not provide a lot of excitement. I finished the image itself, then added about one-half inch of plain black (just in case).
The shuttle loaded with green yarn is there only to help point out the fell of the cloth. Since it's woven with black weft on black warp, it can be difficult to see. The green yarn will be used on the next piece, the pears I first showed here, back in early February.
Today, I wove the first third (or so) of the pears:
