Ranunculus and Rose

Today I finished weaving the ranunculus, and began the next piece. Here's the top part of the ranunculus, photo taken just a few picks into the top border, and looking washed out in the late afternoon light in the studio.

Next up is a rose, based on this design file:

Some deep reds, some fuchsias, some pale apricots. Photos to follow tomorrow. When this one's done, I'll cut the finished weavings off the loom and begin wet finishing. Deadlines are looming (so to speak...)!
