Tea Towels

The warp is 16/2 mercerized cotton, bleached white, sett at 34 epi (I'm using a 17-dent reed). The hems are 30/2 mercerized cotton, also bleached, and the weft for the first towel is turquoise unmercerized 16/2 cotton, which is weaving in at about 32 ppi. Because the towels will shrink more weft-wise in finishing, I'm hoping the drafts will square up when washed and pressed. The draft for this towel is an old favorite from handweaving.net.
