En Route

We're on our way to spend a couple of weeks at the cabin in Montana. I must say it's bizarre to find Nevada greener than California. In CA, everything is dry as toast. Nevada, though, often gets the tail end of summer "monsoon" rains, like the storm that recently caused flooding in Las Vegas, so it has lots of green in the hills.

A good sign was the rain we drove through crossing from Idaho into Montana.

In any case, the blog may be on hiatus for a while unless I find some fibery news to report. But I have my spinning wheel with me, and some tussah silk and some Romney, so who knows? Anything is possible...
