Shetland

After visiting a number of charming towns along Norway's coast, all the way to the North Cape and partway back south, our cruise headed to the British Isles. Today, we spent time in  Lerwick, the largest town in the Shetland Islands. Not long enough to get to the Jamieson Mill, or to Yell to see the weaving studio of Andy Ross, but long enough to see Scalloway Castle and its Museum. Also, the most wellknown Shetland residents, the ponies. Among the herd was a 3-month-old colt, who napped and yawned like any small child.
