On the Fringe

This is my workspae for a while - the fringeing stand:

With the help of my trusty Conair Hair Braider, this stand makes [relatively] quick work of turning this...

...into this:

Now, we all know (except, apparently, the folks in the Conair marketing department) that this is a ply structure, not a braid structure, but as long as their gizmo makes something I can use, I'll damned well use it.
