Still Weaving Water

The water scarves are flowing along now that I've stopped playing in dyepots for a while. Here's another shot of the first one, as viewed from under the loom where the cloth winds onto the cloth beam at the rear of the loom. The weft for this one is a dull (slightly greyed) teal blue.



And here's the second scarf, which I just finished a few minutes ago. This weft is a sort of forest green (spruce? anyway, deep green with some blue in it).



The treadling on this one makes smaller, brook sized ripples instead of large waves. The two different design lines in the threading both show up, depending on the angle of the light.

On to the next, which will have a blue-violet weft and a more pond-like treadling.
