Wood Scarf #2 Underway

The second in the series is underway:

The weft is the skein dyed with eucalyptus leaves, a soft golden yellow. The areas where each of the three yarns predominate show clearly - rose, tan, and gold. The treadling gives an effect similar to fiddleback wood, with ripples down the length of the cloth that expand and contract.

I should be able to finish this one today, and start on Number Three.

I do hope you will have this series at CNCH so that I can get a good close up view of them. They are gorgeous.

I notice that you have wrapped the sandpaper beam with soft stuff to avoid abrasion on your arms. Good idea.
