Tien's wedding banner, that is. Along with the cones of gold yarn that I used as one of two wefts (the other was black, the same 20/2 cotton as the warp).
Here's the banner after being washed, pressed, and hemmed:
Now if only I didn't have a show in Santa Monica that weekend, I'd be able to see it in situ at the wedding. Anyway, this is my way of saying "a world of happiness to you both" to Tien and Mike. I'll be thinking of you on the 12th!

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! It's just gorgeous, I can hardly wait to see it in person.
Thanks so much!!! (and sorry we won't see you at the wedding)
Tien
Fantabulous. I know they are going to love it.
For some reason I can't see the picture, it shows a blank frame, and when I click on it, opens something that says its banner-finished.jpg.gif 1x1 pixels.

Sorry, Sharon, I've never had that happen before. Since everyone else can see the image, it might be some setting in your browser. Have you tried looking at images in earlier posts? Did that work okay?

Double happiness to Tien & Mike! They are so lucky to have a weaving friend like you to make this gorgeous banner.
