Green Feathers

The last scarf on the Feathers Series warp is just begun:

The weft is a light, bright emerald green, but because it's 100/2, the color is muted by the natural, grey, and navy warp of densely sett 50/2 silk. The resulting cloth appears to be sage green, but sometimes the angle of viewing gives you a glimpse of the bright green, as shown at the bottom of the photo where the cloth is going down under the sandpaper beam. It will be fun to see how strong that effect is once the scarf is fringed, washed, and pressed.

I am really enjoying the feather series. That red/purple one is my favorite but mostly because of the irridesence.
