Mixed Silk Warp

The next warp to be beamed on the dobby loom is a recycling project. I gathered up all the spools and cones of silk leftovers in shades of blue, green, and violet. The sizes range from 30/2 NM to 120/2 NM, with most being 60/2. The skinnier yarns I'm doubling, to get more consistency. The cloth will be woven in plain weave at 32-34 epi, with occational picks of a lycra blend yarn so the finished cloth will collapse into pleats and wrinkles.
