In the Dyepots Again

The silk skeins I measured out some time back finally found their way into dyepots. One skein will be a light periwinkle blue:

The other will be a deep blue that's somewhere between royal and turquoise:

These are 60/2 silk; the wefts will be 100/2 or finer, navy and some other hues yet to be decided upon. I'm getting ducks in a row, but not all of them at once...

Gorgeous dye jobs! You must have eyes of steel to work that ultra fine yarn!

don't you mean "parrots" in a row?

Beautiful! Do you find that silk dyes a lighter value than wool? I am thinking about using some silk and wonder how it will change the relative values when I look at my dye samples.
