- I am a professional weaver, specializing in complex weaves using fine threads. Most of my studio work consists of scarves, shawls, and wraps woven on a 48-inch, 24-shaft computer-assisted AVL dobby loom or wall art woven on a 48-inch, 1,440-heddle AVL jacquard loom. I exhibit and sell my work through high-end retail craft shows such as the Smithsonian Craft Show, the American Craft Council San Francisco show, and several smaller regional and local fine craft shows.

When did they get so fat (the cats, I mean)? Seems like just yesterday they were kittens.

Tim's always been a big boy. Big bones, huge paws. At 18 lbs, he's been put on a diet. But you try to keep him from gobbling his own food and then stealing Gracie's! He considers eating a competitive sport. Gracie is not a foodie, and is a slender 12 lbs by comparison, but the fact that she's a shorthair and he's a longhair influences the perception of relative size.
Perfect position: feet up, remote in one hand, glass of wine on the floor - this is life!
Now if he can raise his feet about six inches off the stool, that'd be a fantastic workout!
