Colorful Goings-On

The now-darker skein of blue rayon is drying on a rack on the balcony.

Inside the studio, the small pink chains that will become painted warp stripes are proliferating, accompanied by the rayon skeins I posted yesterday, which are now 99% dry.

I decided it would be a wise safety measure to make one extra pink chain, and dye it at the same time as the others. That way, I'll be sure to have enough spare warp ends to substitute in case of knots or breaks. It's not as if I don't have enough pink yarn :-)
