Tournon and Viviers

We visited a several small towns along the Rhone. One of these was Tournon, where we made an evening stop to take on fuel and supplies, and to take an after-dark walk around the town enjoying the well-lit bridge and battlements.

And Viviers, with its steep streets and interesting architecture. It also had a village market, where the seafood and shellfish selection was very appealing.

Octopus, anyone?

We always had to keep an eye on the riverbank, because we never knew when we'd pass something scenic, like this ruined castle. Who? When? No idea.
