Yesterday, I was getting bored with the armchair, and went up to the studio to see if I could weave without making the pain worse. It went okay, about 500 picks (which translates to 14 inches). At that point, my energy ran out so I stopped. Just in time to watch Oregon lose the college football title to Ohio State :-( I was hoping a Western team would win...
But at least I know I can weave a little at a time without damage!

Sorry to hear about your operation and hope you recover well.
We have a friend who had the same procedure and said his "stab wounds' healed quickly.
I had my gall bladder out many years ago at age 21 and have a 14 inch scar. Life goes on quite well without it!
