Still Chugging Along
The mixed yarn warp is chugging along, albeit slowly. Partly because I tend to split my weaving time between the two looms, and partly because the warp consists of very slubby, nubby knitting yarn. It simply doesn't like making a clean shed (on two of the four possible sheds) unless I jiggle the beater before throwing the shuttle, which tends to clear the yarns that want to stick to their neighbors. But I'm sure that the cloth will be soft and highly textured after wet finishing, and the woven cloth is accumulating in a satisfyingly big roll at the back of the loom.
