Going Home

The last few days at the cabin, the weather turned cold and rainy, which meant that rain (at cabin altitude) became snow on the mountain peaks.

Here is the view on Interstate 90 looking west toward Anaconda (former home to copper barons, now a Superfund clean-up site):

And the view on Interstate 15 looking southwest toward the Continental Divide near Monida Pass, Montana. These mountains form the southern border between Montana and Idaho.

The trip home seemed to take forever. The lesions from the shingles are not quite healed yet, and the residual discomfort didn't help! I'll see my family doctor early next week to get an idea how long this will continue.
