Happy New Year

What with travel to Los Angeles for Christmas last weekend, travel to the San Francisco Bay Area for the KPFA show the weekend before that, and the usual holiday preparations shoe-horned into the gaps before and between, there hasn't been anything fiberwise to post about for a while.

The amaryllis is always a symbol of the new year to me, and here's the one in bloom at the moment. It's got 4 blossoms now, and a 5th ready to pop open any minute, plus an additional flower stalk starting to sprout. The blooms have a lovely faint pink blush.

Have a peaceful, joyful New Year, and we'll catch up in 2016.
