Apparently, being on pins and needles waiting for information about the heart surgery has shredded my ability to pay attention to silly, trivial details like accurate threading.
After tying the warp onto the apron beam, and weaving a test 1/2 inch, I found several areas where the threading is obviously f^%$@%&ed. I'm fairly sure that I'm not in the right frame of mind to go through the entire "treadle your threading" process again to find out which/where the errors are, so it might have to wait. OTOH, another life experience which requires waiting is not on my like list.
I see the surgeon on Monday for a discussion about the state of things, and then I should know where/when/etc. so maybe I'll be in the right frame of mind after that. However, the surgeon is known for scheduling surgery ASAP after a consultation, so maybe the right frame of mind will have to wait a while longer. Like my mother used to say in response to almost any request, "We'll see."
