Rose Season

It's that time of year. The climbing peach-pink rose in the courtyard is trying to take over the world, as it the bicolor orange/gold one next to it (in the shade, so the camera didn't want to get an accurate reading).

Up on the garden slope on the side of the house, the deep red roses have been going crazy for a couple of weeks, and show no signs of slowing down. The same can be said for the other hybrid tea roses.

Every few days, I bring in a different selection, and the fragrance is wonderful.

In the meantime, I'm still chugging along on the brown silk scarf.
