Poppies

I spent some time today playing with an image of the poppies in our garden. The image was manipulated in Photoshop, indexed to 12 colors, and is intended to weave on the usual black warp with 3 wefts - blue, orange, and green - with several values of each hue.

There are quite a few projects ahead of this one in the queue, so it'll be a while before I get to it. But the bulk of the design work is done, and all that's left is to fill each color with its weave, resize the image to the correct aspect ratio, and put shuttles in hand.

I've just posted the second of the Cocoa-Puffs scarves on my sale blog. Take a look! Mother's Day is just around the corner (hint, hint...).

Cocoa Puffs is truly wonderful. You got so much depth in the pockets, or should I say puffs? Anxious to see the poppies, when you get to weaving them.
