Slow Progress

I'm splitting my time between winding sections of the jacquard warp and plying the fringes on a pile of scarves. Yesterday and today, the crepe scarves are being fringed (see here, and a few posts prior to that), then I have a couple of Wood Series scarves from much earlier to finish before the ACC show next weekend. (Wow, have they really been waiting since last October?!?)

As of dinner time today, the scarf shown above is the last of the crepe scarves to get its fringe plied, so I should finish it tomorrow.

On the jacquard loom, I've only got 10 sections to go:

After ACC, I'll start the tying-on process. It'll be a little different this time: I can tie on only those ends that correspond to the original 8 modules, and will have to thread the heddles for the new modules. Being sure I'm starting the knots at the right warp end will be the fun part...

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who ages their fringing pile well. :^)
