Convergence

It's been a week since I posted - I apologize, but I'm recovering from a bad cold that began during the trip to Russia. There's been no activity in the studio, so nothing fiber-related to post about.

However, if you're planning to attend Convergence, whether as a registrant or as a day-pass visitor, you'll have plenty of opportunities to see my work in Southern California.

One piece is in the HGA Latitudes exhibit, in the conference exhibit hall.

Four pieces are in the Designing Weavers exhibit Timeless Textiles in Camarillo, CA, about an hour's drive north of Long Beach (the address is 2221 Ventura Boulevard).

Five pieces are in another Designing Weavers exhibit World of Fiber at the Bungalow Gallery, 727 Pine Avenue, just a few blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center. The Artist's Reception for this exhibit will be on Friday evening, July 20, from 6pm to 10pm. Please join us!

This is one of the works at the Bungalow Gallery:

Two pieces are in the juror's section of the Complex Weavers exhibit Glamour, Glitter, Glitz at the Hellada Art Center, 117 Linden Avenue, also just a few blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center. If you miss this exhibit in California, there will be another chance after the exhibit moves cross-country to Rockville, MD, where it will be shown from September 4 through October 17, 2012.

I'll be at Convergence on a day pass on Thursday and Friday - hope to see you there!
