Shingles

Not the kind that keep the roof from leaking...

Just came back from the local medical clinics, where the MD said that my developing rash is actually shingles. Even though I've had the vaccine! Just proves that no vaccine is infallible.

The biggest disappointment is that the main reason for coming to Montana now was to attend a big family reunion: 24 first cousins, with all their kids and grandkids. The MD said that I MUST not attend because I'll be contagious and dangerous for small children, the elderly (I.e., all the cousins in my age bracket), and anyone who hasn't had chickenpox or the vaccine.

So I'm grounded for a while. Oh well, more time to spin!
